LANDCAMERAS.COM POLICIES

LandCameras.com is owned by landcameras LLC. The essence of this website is to present high quality instant photography tools (cameras, accessories and more) to the world. Dedicated to bringing the world hand restored instant photographic equipment. In order to establish a fair and transparent business relationship from the very first moment, the following terms and conditions are detailed below.

SUPPORT & CUSTOMER SERVICE

If you need any help or have any problems that can not be solved by reading the FAQ, please don’t hesitate to contact us directly at support@landcameras.com. We will strive to answer all your mails within 24 hours of receipt.

PRICES, TAX AND INTERNATIONAL SALES

“Our Prices”, are displayed in USD and include the legal taxes where applicable. All customers outside of The United States of America will pay individually assessed shipping rates at the time of sale.

Availability information for the products in our shop is listed on each item’s detail page. As we process your order, we will inform you by e-mail if any items you order turn out to be unavailable, or their delivery will be delayed due to any reasons.

BUYING

When you place an order to purchase a product from LandCameras.com, we will send you an e-mail confirming receipt of your order and containing the details and the total value of your order. Your order represents an offer to us to purchase one or more products. We will accept this offer as soon as we send an e-mail confirmation to you including the information that we’ve dispatched that product (the “Dispatch Confirmation E-mail”). Any products on the same original order, which we have not confirmed in the Dispatch Confirmation E-mail, do not form part of that contract.

PAYMENT

LandCameras.com accepts the following forms of payment: PayPal or Cash (in person only please contact us to arrange this)

All transactions on LandCameras.com are processed through PayPal’s encryption protocols. Your name, address, and account  information cannot be viewed by anyone else and will be kept strictly confidential. We are a licensed corporation, and a verified PayPal account holder.

If you do not own any of the above listed payment methods, or have a PayPal account, please contact us directly at sales@LandCameras.com. We do our best to find a solution for every instant photographer.

SHIPPING

If not stated otherwise, all goods are in stock and all orders placed before 5:00 PM PST. will be sent out within two workdays (Monday – Friday). We are a VERY small company, regular folks with real jobs besides this web site. As a general rule we ship only twice a week. Mondays are normal for us as well as Thursdays. Unless you have a pressing need to get your stuff sooner we’ll ship your order out as soon as we can.

Due to the nature of  LandCameras.com’s unique business model, we may not restore your new camera till you purchase it. We spend a number of hours on each unit and often times your camera is “Made to Order” per your specifications. If you are purchasing a camera that is “Made to Order” we will communicate to you a reasonable time frame for fulfilling your purchase. Usually this can be done from 2 days to 2 weeks from the time of order.

All orders for accessories and non “Made to Order” items within the continental USA will be delivered to you, by either USPS, FedEx  within within 2-6 business days. If for some reason an unforeseen situation arises and we are unable to fulfill this promise of 2-6 day delivery, we will communicate the issue to you to make arrangements to deliver the purchase to you as soon as possible.

Please be aware that we cannot deliver to PO boxes or addresses outside of the USA. Please see Prices, Taxes and International sales section above.

Shipping Damage: Should your shipment arrive at your delivery address damaged, please do not accept the shipment, or have the courier confirm the damage. Since courier services will not accept damage complaints that are filed at a later date, we will not be able to offer compensation or exchange in such cases.

Shipping costs are as follows:

USA: Domestic shipping is generally handled by FedEx. Rates will be determined at time of checkout.

International: This will be arranged at the time of purchase. We will pass on the current rate USPS charges plus an 8 USD handling fee. We ship international orders ONCE a week only. It is a bit more difficult to fill out the paper work for import and customs. We like to do that in batches instead of every day. Thanks for understanding.

RETURNS

We accept returns for repair or replacement only within 30-day period. We offer a 90 day warranty on all cameras we sell (see LandCameras.com warranties below). If your camera is found to be defective or there is something not quite right, please contact us at support@landcameras.com and we will fix it or advise you about the issue. If indeed there is something wrong with your new camera, you have 90 days to contact us. If your camera develops issues after 90 days from purchase, contact us and we will evaluate the issue. We may fix it free of charge if the issue is simple enough.

Please remember your camera is a “Functional Antique”. There are numerous fragile parts of your camera that can be easily damaged. We are not liable for any damage caused by misuse or mishandling. We do however guarantee our workmanship. We spend considerable time with each camera, and are confident in its viability before we sell it. However if your camera develops an issue or is faulty in ways beyond your control we will fix or replace it as needed within the 90 day period mentioned above. We will complete the repair free of charge, and ship it back to you. You are responsible for shipping the camera to us, unless of course there is a justified complaint. We will refund your shipping fees on basis of the cheapest possible mode of shipment by standard post. Please contact us before returning your order and we will arrange a mutually agreeable settlement.

If you are shipped an incorrect item, LandCameras.com will provide an immediate replacement with the correct item, and assume all return shipping costs.

Damaged goods

If an item arrives damaged, immediately contact us at support@landcameras.com for a return authorization. We will reimburse you for return shipping charges only on items, which contain manufacturer defects, and only provided that they are returned within a 14-day window.

We are not responsible for damages caused by incorrect use, handling, or abuse of the item.

The damaged item and invoice must accompany the return in order for us to process an exchange. Please also include a note stating the product’s defect.

You are responsible for initial payment of the return shipping cost. Upon receiving your returned item, LandCameras.com will verify its condition and replace the item if our terms of guarantee apply. Customers are fully responsible for ensuring that the item(s) arrive back to us in the original packaging and the original condition. If your return is determined to be a result of a manufacturer defect, the appropriate shipping cost will be refunded.

LandCameras.com warranties

NEW PRODUCTS: Effective warranty for 12 months from date of purchase. Both the product and invoice or receipt stating the date of purchase must be returned together.

Original Accessories: All the used Original Accessories offered are carefully checked and therefore we are proud to sell them with an effective warranty for 30 days (if not stated different in the product description) from date of purchase. Both the product and invoice or receipt stating the date of purchase must be returned together.

Our Cameras: All of our Restored and used cameras we offer are lovingly evaluated and therefore we are proud to sell them with an effective warranty for 90 days (if not stated different in the product description) from date of purchase. Both the product and invoice or receipt stating the date of purchase must be returned together.

ALL EXPIRED FILM is sold as seen and under exclusion of each guarantee, unless stated in the product description.

The extent of warranty does not cover the removal of errors and additional expenditure, as far as they resulted from outside influences and operating errors.

Please contact support@landcameras.com for a return authorization of your purchase. This is absolutely necessary for correct processing of your return.

PRIVACY AND SECURITY

We at LandCameras.com sincerely guarantee taking the highest care in protecting the privacy of our customers. Please read this privacy policy carefully, as use of our site implies its consent.

In order to provide you with the possibility to shop online at LandCameras.com, we must collect your name, e-mail address, delivery address. This information is solely used to process your orders, and will only be communicated to shippers and other third parties when necessary to complete those orders. By providing your information to LandCameras.com, you consent to this disclosure, as stated, and allow us to make our services available to you.

Your personal information WILL NOT be sold, traded, rented or given away to any other firm.

Your order is processed by secure server software that encodes all the information that you input before it is sent to us. LandCameras.com employs the latest version of Secure Socket Layer Technology (SSL) to encrypt your information and ensure that only you and LandCameras.com can view it. We also follow strict security procedures to ensure proper storage and careful disclosure of information so that nothing improper happens to your private information. Our security procedures also dictate that we may occasionally request proof of identity before we are able to disclose personal information to you.

Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that we transfer to your computer’s hard drive through your Web browser to enable our systems to recognize your browser and to provide features such as automatic login and a faster shopping process. We strive to return your contact as soon  as we can, but we are a small company, vacations, holidays and weekends do indeed happen. If for some reason we will be out of touch you will be automatically notified that we are unavailable via an Out-Of-Office automatic email to you. Our in-office hours are Wednesday through Sunday 11am – 6pm
